Turn a reference image, sketch or model into a brief that can be developed and made.
Begin with the brief
A useful starting point is the intended space, the approximate dimensions, the quantity and the visual direction. A sketch, reference image or small model can explain the form; site photographs show how the work needs to sit in its surroundings.
Resolve the making
Weiya supports design development, 3D modelling and production planning for custom sculpture and installations. Material choice, internal support, visible joints and surface treatment need to be resolved together, rather than treated as separate decisions after the form is fixed.
Agree the next stage
Agree the stages for reviewing the design, samples and production photographs. The approved form, finish and installation scope become the reference for making and checking the work. Reproduction of an existing work requires the relevant permission from its rights holder.
